Some societies will be happy with a strong presence on Philatelist.co.in. Others may eventually want a recognisable address such as www.YourClubName.com for invitations, letterheads and long-term identity.
The club can begin without taking on a technical project. When a branded address is genuinely useful, it can be considered separately at the actual cost of the domain and required setup, subject to availability and agreed terms.
A club can begin with the free profile foundation and later add a branded address when it has a clear reason to do so, without losing its place in the wider Philatelist environment.
The club starts with a free, useful presence, learns what it needs and later chooses a branded address because it has seen the value—not because it has been sold a technical upgrade.
