USPS issues Winter Wreath Global Forever stamp in Humble, Texas

The U.S. Postal Service issued its 2026 Winter Wreath Global Forever stamp on 18 September in Humble, Texas. The stamp is intended for international correspondence and can be used for a one-ounce First-Class Mail International letter to any country where that service is available. USPS released the stamp without a formal ceremony.

The design centers on a snow-covered wreath assembled in 2023 by photographer Natalia Kostikova from artificial branches and craft materials. Kostikova painted the ornaments and used baking soda to create the appearance of snow. USPS art director Greg Breeding developed the stamp around a softer winter palette, moving away from the stronger red-and-green treatment used on earlier holiday-themed Global Forever wreath designs.

Winter Wreath is sold in panes of 10. As a Global Forever stamp, its postage value remains tied to the current single-piece First-Class Mail International one-ounce rate. The circular wreath also makes use of the round Global Forever format, which USPS has previously used for internationally recognizable seasonal subjects.
