Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in details.
- Your profile, photograph, biography, collecting interests and contact details.
- Your albums and their images, and your stamp identification submissions.
- Your follows, likes, bookmarks and notifications.
- Your testimonials, and your event and course registrations.
What happens to your club memberships
Deleting your account removes you from every club you belong to, including on any club’s own website. Clubs keep a record that a membership existed and any payments made, because they need it for their own accounts — but your personal details are removed from it.
What we have to keep
- Payment records, for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
- Content that forms part of a club’s record — an exhibition result, an election outcome, or minutes of a meeting you attended. These belong to that club’s history, so they are separated from your personal details rather than erased.
- Anonymous and aggregate information, which no longer identifies you.
If you own or help run a club
If you own a club listing, you will be asked to transfer it to someone else before your account can be deleted, so that the club is not left without an administrator.
Timing
The confirmation link is valid for a limited time. Once confirmed and approved, deletion is normally completed within 30 days. It cannot be undone.
