Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Center confirms participation in Ajman international exhibition

The Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Center has confirmed that it will participate in the sixth Ajman International Philatelic and Numismatic Exhibition, scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates from 2 to 6 September 2026. Qatar News Agency reported the participation on 31 August, providing a fresh update ahead of the five-day collecting event.

The exhibition will be staged at the Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel and is expected to combine competitive and display activities with a wider programme for collectors. According to the announcement, visitors will be able to attend stamp and coin auctions, specialist workshops and lectures, while rare and valuable collections will also be displayed. The format therefore brings together organised philately, numismatics, education and the commercial collecting market within a single regional event.

Qatar will be represented by members of the Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Center who have previous experience participating in international stamp and coin exhibitions. The centre operates under Qatar's Ministry of Culture and has maintained an active international programme, including participation in exhibitions held under major regional and international philatelic organisations.

The Ajman exhibition is particularly relevant to Gulf collectors because regional exhibitions provide opportunities to examine material that may rarely appear together in public displays. They also create direct contact between collectors, societies, exhibitors and auction participants from neighbouring countries. Workshops and lectures can further broaden an event beyond competitive exhibiting by providing educational opportunities for newer collectors and specialists alike.
