Ukrposhta releases ‘Yastruby’ stamp for 411th Unmanned Systems Brigade

Ukrposhta released a personalized stamp issue dedicated to the 411th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade ‘Yastruby’ on 27 August 2026. The issue was produced through the postal operator’s ‘My Own Stamp’ programme and accompanied by a special cancellation in Kyiv. The brigade created the design, linking the postal material directly to the unit it commemorates.

A limited collector set prepared for subscribers to Ukrposhta’s Exclusive+ philatelic service contains a numbered sheet of nine stamps and a numbered C6 illustrated envelope bearing the special cancellation. Ukrposhta set the quantity at 1,150 sets and the price at UAH 800, with any remainder to be offered more widely. A separate unnumbered sheet of 28 personalized stamps entered general sale at UAH 900 and was described as having no fixed print limit.

Related postal material includes a DL-format illustrated envelope priced at UAH 36 and a stamped illustrated envelope carrying a line associated with Taras Shevchenko, offered online with the special postmark for UAH 60. The official cancellation operated at Kyiv’s Main Post Office, 22 Khreshchatyk Street, from 14:00 to 20:00 on the issue date. A presentation ceremony was also reported at the Saint Sophia of Kyiv National Reserve, attended by brigade commander Colonel Andriy Sukhin and service members.

The 411th unit began in 2022 as a separate unmanned aviation systems battalion and later expanded into a brigade. Ukrposhta says it has operated across the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Kursk sectors. Its work combines aerial reconnaissance, analysis and strike drones, while its Vezha analytical module is integrated with Ukraine’s Delta battlefield information system. The unit also counters Shahed-type attack drones.

For collectors, the issue documents the rapid emergence of unmanned systems as a distinct subject in contemporary Ukrainian military philately. The numbered subscriber set, general-sale sheet, illustrated envelopes and dated Kyiv cancellation create several collectible formats with different availability. The official notice does not give stamp dimensions, perforation, printing method or the manufacturer of the personalized labels.
