*"It was just colorful"* → That’s how Philately starts
Those bright stamps from different countries, Gandhi ji stamps, animals, birds, festivals... we stuck them in albums just because they looked pretty.
*"The metal was looking special"* → That’s how Numismatics starts
Old 25 paise, 50 paise, ₹1 coins with different designs. Some heavy, some shiny, some with Ashoka pillar. We’d just keep them because they felt special in hand.
And then one day I came to know that :
*Philately* = The art and hobby of collecting stamps
*Numismatics* = The study and collection of coins, currency, medals
What started as "colorful and shiny" became a real hobby with history, culture, and stories behind each piece.
This is how all it started :) for me its more than a hobby I treat it like my valuable Treasure.
