Linn’s Stamp News has illustrated a counterfeit of the United States’ 2026 Figures of the American Revolution pane. Its report identifies a conspicuous difference: the year “2026”, printed on each genuine stamp, is absent from all 25 counterfeit designs.

The imitation reproduces the pane’s portraits, Declaration of Independence background, decorative margins and plate-number positions. The genuine issue, identified as, was released on 10 April in Washington, D.C. The illustrated item is a counterfeit, rather than a newly recognized variety of valid postage.
