Philately NewsChunghwa Post published the winners of its ROC year 114 school philately competition on 13 October 2026. The competition assessment was completed on 24 September, and the new notice presents the results in an illustrated table and a downloadable official attachment.
The competition received 33 entries in the four-page “Small Philatelic Art” category and 14 one-frame exhibits of 16 pages. The one-frame category gives an award to a fantasy-themed postal journey from Kaohsiung’s Shihu Elementary School, Grade 3 Class 6. Two further works receive commendations: a Kinmen-themed exhibit from New Taipei City’s Wuhua Elementary School, Grade 3 Class 12, and a sports-themed exhibit from Keelung’s Dongxin Elementary School, Grade 4 Class 1.
Chunghwa Post says its school philately classrooms began in ROC year 95, equivalent to 2006. The new announcement reports 191 classes nationwide for school year 115. Instruction is provided by experienced philatelists or school teachers who have attended philately-classroom teacher training.
